Category and post tag related posts

This plugin for WordPress serves you a brand new widget showing related posts matching categories with post tags by slug or title. You might compare this plugin with the Category Content plugin but there are some essential differences.

The Category Content plugin shows related posts from the same category you are looking in or posts from the category a single post has been published in. This plugin serves, just like the Category Content plugin, a widget in your sidebar(s), but now, it matches the category name/slug with post tags and shows a list with related posts accordingly – matching the category name(s)/slug(s) with post tags. So to get this plugin working you need some identical categories and post tags.

If no matches found, the widget will be not shown at all…

Widget options

• Title
• Show category/post-tag name – Yes | No
• Show how many posts in the widget
• Show widget on - Single posts | Category pages | Single posts and Category pages
• Match the category against post tags on - Category title | Category slug
• Post has multiple categories – what now - Show the last category viewed | Show all categories
